Gzhel station is dressed in white and blue patterns

The CPPK and the Gzhel Porcelain Factory made a joint gift to the guests and residents of the region: the Gzhel station has become a unique art object.

The updated platform now immerses passengers in the atmosphere of the famous fishery from the very first seconds of their stay.

Major repairs at the Gzhel station of the Kazan direction ended with a large-scale artistic transformation. The Central Suburban Passenger Company (CPPK) and the Gzhel Porcelain Factory (GFZ) presented a joint gift for all residents and guests of the famous region — a platform transformed into a unique art object.

The columns and benches on the platform are now decorated with authentic white and blue hand-made patterns. This project is more than just landscaping; it is an emotional gesture aimed at immersing travelers in the atmosphere of one of Russia’s main cultural brands from the very first minute.

“We have combined the dynamics of modern transportation and living traditions. This gift from our companies is a symbol of the fact that the path to the main cultural treasures of the Moscow region begins already on the platform. The created beauty will remain here for many years, and maybe for centuries,” said Vera Konovalova, General Director of the Gzhel Porcelain Factory.

The authorship of the painting belongs to the artist Diana Romanova, who has been working with Gzhel for many years and has thoroughly studied the style of the craft. As Anton Aksenov, Chief Public Relations Specialist at CPPK, noted, Gzhel has become the only station in the company’s landfill with such a deeply developed and authentic design.

Serving about half a million passengers annually, the renovated station performs not only a transport function, but also becomes a business card and a point of attraction, contributing to the development of tourism and recognition of the region.
