Gzhel art object at the Interior and Design Week
The Gzhel Porcelain Factory presented an art object at the IV Moscow Interior and Design Week in the Manege.
On May 16, the opening of the traditional Interior and Design Week took place in Moscow. At the exhibition, you can see the works of manufacturers and designers from Russia and foreign countries, as well as contemporary artists. Gzhel Porcelain Factory is represented by an art installation with architectural motifs, created with the support of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow.
When creating an art object, the focus was on the habitual perception of gzhel. This time, the Gzhel Porcelain Factory completely immersed the visitors of the exhibition in a white and blue world. Porcelain products painted by Gzhel artists exclusively by hand are displayed on a stand resembling vertically placed chessboards.
The art object is unmistakably recognized by visitors of the exhibition as belonging to the Gzhel craft, and arouses great interest. Moscow Interior and Design Week will last until 20:00 on May 19.
