The Ivanka restaurant has made a collaboration with the Gzhel Porcelain Factory

Native meanings in a new form.

The delicate lace pattern intertwines history and bar art. Gzhel is not only a childhood favorite set, but also a modern aesthetic and shapes that can inspire with renewed vigor. The result of the collaboration of the chef-bartender of the Ivanka restaurant Alice Abdulkayumova and the Gzhel Porcelain Factory were gastronomic art objects: specially for the collaboration, the chef created four new cocktails, and Gzhel prepared exclusive dishes.

The special offer is available to order from November 5th until the end of the year.

Chef-bartender Alisa Abdulkayumova about the collaboration: “I had a desire to show the modern world of hospitality with the help of seasonal products and aesthetic dishes, at the same time to transfer the warm comfort of antiquity into our reality.”

Creative Director of JSC “GFZ” Anastasia Pravostnova on collaboration: “We were impressed by Alice’s approach and courage, who set us several non-standard tasks at once. Moreover, we are talking about both large and very small products that we have never made before. We were surprised by them ourselves and, I think, all the guests of the restaurant will be surprised.”

Learn more about the special card: Phantomata (“the revived ghost”) is a strong but pleasant berry cocktail: a mix of blackcurrant and blackcurrant with mors and fruity notes. It is served in a glass with edges imitating a flower and a human mask.

Perspectiva (“looking into the distance”) — horseradish on honey with fennel and aloe. The ingredients refer to the favorite products of Peter the Great, who once brought porcelain to Russia. The glass is taken out in an ice cube.

 Natura (“nature”, “sample”, “character”) — sour with almonds and tomatoes. It is served with a painted figure in the shape of a candy.

 Matrix (“matrix”) is an electric gin with fruity notes. The serving refers to the cult film: the cocktail is carried out with a matchbox, inside of which there are two capsules.
