A symbolic anniversary took place during the Maslenitsa week at the Gzhel Porcelain Factory. On February 26, the 20,000th pancake maker called “All’s Well That Ends Well” was produced in the local kilns. The idea was conceived by artist Yuliana Kosikhina, but the product features a wide range of designs created by various artists at the factory. These include traditional white and blue designs, as well as colorful and gold-plated versions. The paints are made using a unique recipe developed by Yuliana Kosikhina.

“This is one of the most popular products at the enterprise, which has been in demand for many years,” said Sergey Simonov, Chief Artist of the State Museum of Fine Arts, Honored Artist of Russia.

The pancake maker is designed for pancakes of standard size — 23 centimeters. However, its functionality is not limited to Shrovetide week.: It is a practical product that can be used for both festive and everyday meals.
